More evidence that it's fake, for people who keep thinking frame blending explains things (it doesn't): the GHz text on the top left comes after the CPU usage, and should move according to the text length (single/double/triple digit usage), but it doesn't.

E.g. at the beginning of the video the usage goes from white (2/128 threads = ~1%) to all dark (100%) and yet the GHz text does not move to the right two characters like it should. Also, he never hits enter on the python script that ostensibly starts the process.

I've seen it first on mobile but after your tweet, a quick look on a monitor reveals that they fade between 0%, 39%, 77% and 100% and I'm not just talking about colors. You can see 39% slowly fading into 77%. I don't get why going through all this trouble to fake it... badly.

I think the fading might just be caused by interpolation and/or compression, since you can't see fading in that static shot I screenshotted with all the 77% shades. So I wouldn't have called it fake based on just that. But the 4 fixed percentages and variable shades...
