At my old apartment (1980) after lack of ground killed a board I was working on, I ended up running a ground from the kitchen microwave outlet to my workbench. Thankfully I moved to a 2007 construction apartment and there are some grounded outlets here. Not all. Some.
On the plus side, it's so much easier not to have ground loop issues here! Ground cheater power strips are the norm! Everything comes with a ground spade terminal instead of a 3-pin plug, which of course you connect nowhere!pic.twitter.com/TLP7F2HE9t
