Anyone knows whether ZFS on Linux can use hardware DMA engines for RAID acceleration? Seems like this is impossible to Google for, or at least I'm failing hard at it. Would love to offload RAID6 checksums :)
Is that even worth it? AFAIK RAID6 checksums are stupidly fast on modern CPUs.
