I guess coming from multiple Firefox profiles ages ago (clunky), to Chromium profiles (lots of them, better UX), and now back to Firefox, the new hotness is Multi-Account Containers, right? Seems like I should use a mix of MACs and profiles, most likely.

Probably profiles for when I want strict separation (largely my Chromium VPN proxy profile, and the random testing profile), and MACs for multi-login use (which I have lots of Chromium profiles for).

The "open in container" thing seems very helpful, because what I found happened often in Chromium was that I'd start at $loggedinservice which was the intent of that profile, but then veer off into completely unrelated pages that had no real reason to be in that profile.
