At this point how much of the Linux-kernel is working against quirky hardware (Ex "We have to do this write twice for it to stick")
Update on these things: they show up as 96kHz mono audio, but it's actually 48kHz stereo, they just messed up the descriptor. That is so dumb. I'll send a Linux patch to quirk it...https://twitter.com/marcan42/status/1270350054755168259 …

Most of the drivers? I'm still surprised that the kernel trust HID descriptors, Windows appear to ignore them. Thus why hid-elecom exists in Linux but on Windows works out of the box.
