I still have an XP VM somewhere... I had a legit edu license to it from college but I only ever used it in a VM (though it's changed hypervisors a few times).

Back in I think 1999 we discussed how resource hungry it was, as it looked to require 128mb to reliably work compared to how 64 would have been roomy before.

SP3 was also the first Windows version to handle most USB thumb drives without needing a driver CD
