It's surprisingly good bang/buck, though the MJPEG quality isn't great (esp. the chroma); definitely better on YUV but you lose framerate. I have some USB3 units ordered.       Got one of those "camlink" USB converters because I was curious about em, and WHOAH I was shocked. UVC output, 20ms delay and signal looks to be properly grabbing 1080P@30. Single chip solution under a small sink and costs under $20. What in the heck is this. pic.twitter.com/J7HYM3cf3M

      big jump in price from USB2 to USB3 units, my guess is USB3 ones haven't been optimised down to lowest possible price yet in a single chip like USB2 ones have...

      Does it actually claim to capture at 4K? All the USB3 ones I can find say they can input, output and switch/mux (if multiple ports) at 4K, but their capture resolution is capped at 1080p60.
