btw for anyone still a bit concerned about what the recent strikedowns on a certain media distribution platform means for DJ streams and such (despite the clear bullet point saying “please don’t”), they’ll likely continue on as usual but maybe without VODs if one wants to be safe

at this point i’m positive that for most channels, streaming DJ sessions is more of a way to relieve stress for both the streamer and the viewers, like an interactive pirate radio station though yes, monetizing these is a tricky thing, but hopefully that’s no one’s priority

anyway end point is, i don’t think many of us DJ streamers will be stopping all of a sudden, but i doubt any of us went into this without at least acknowledging that it can all crumble immediately we know the risk, but we still want to give ya’ll a fun time

Yup, best we can do is just keep going and stop doing VODs if they become a problem. Not like we're making any money at AnimeltUP! from the online streams anyway... it's for fun and to keep the spirit alive in these times :)
