I'm hardly a Google defender (resigned last year over ethical concerns re US DoD contracts, Search in China, & exec response to the Walkout) but: I was a co-founder of reCAPTCHA & I guarantee this is 100% coincidence & not at all having anything to do with some nefarious plot.
