Why is it that literally everyone who is complaining/trolling/arguing with me over the past few days doesn't know how to thread replies properly on Twitter? I have no idea why, but I'm getting a huge correlation here.

Probably because most spend productive time outside of social media that purposefully puts us in echochambers that make us think that the western world is super racist and bigoted and has everything going badly for it.
Meanwhile in the US police are maiming and killing protesters. Yes the western world is definitely doing fine. No problems there.
