Because what he's doing hurts people, and his opinions are actively harmful towards minorities in STEM. That's like saying "let Trump be, he just has opinions". Opinions make a difference.
Again, Dave *specifically* mentioned two of the most well respected women in EE tech and said they only got front page covers because they're women. Thus saying, to the world, "I think these women are not good enough".

Well, it did certainly help to be female
In Germany they demand a quote for females in boards of corporations. Every woman I know that is hard working, as everyone has to do to accomplish anything, is against it. Because it undermines every effort they put in their career. -
Again, he is *literally pointing fingers at specific woman and undermining them*. You can argue against quotas. What you can't do is literally point fingers and say "you're there because of the quota".
