I think this is once again purposely taken the wrong way: I am yet to see scientific evidence, that given exactly identical upbringing, all genders would have exactly identical probability distribution of having each and every interest/hobby. It does not say anything negative ...

On the other hand, e.g. life sciences has mostly female students here. Is it a sign of discrimination? But to make it clear: no statistical discussion ever, ever, justifies imposing ANY assumptions on a particular person. This is what would be awful. Didn't see Dave do that.
