      Also, if you need a technical reason to not follow him, he's also not good at what he does. Like, really, his teardowns are half guesswork and he never issues corrections.

      Dude, Google "wired magazine". It's more men than women. Saying that women only got there because of their gender is misogynist and undermines their achievements. You can't pick random people and ask why they weren't featured to make your point. Most people aren't featured, duh.

      Those are your negative controls, really? Companies/businesses much older and than adafruit? I hadn't even heard of them. Have you considered that maybe adafruit is a better story because it's a new start-up from this century, and it has nothing to do with the owner's gender?
