i don't feel comfortable because i've voiced these concerns in private before to relevant staff only to have my concerns be ignored.
I think at this point the best we can hope for is that the explosion that just happened and departure/removal of James was enough of a wake-up call for the rest of the organizers that they start taking these issues seriously.
I'm giving them a chance personally, given their latest response, but obviously they'll have to back it up with actions or else it'll just be all talk. I'm really hoping they do, because I really love SST, but I won't support an event that isn't safe.
i care about sst too, which is why i'm posting. but seeing a lot of the staff from 2019 either say nothing or say stuff that is actively harmful to victims does not make me feel safe, and i don't think the organisers are seeing this because it's not being tweeted in english.
