It DOES change how someone behaves and they often do things they wouldn‘t have done sober, but that doesn‘t mean it‘s okay.
Read the thread again. I'm saying that it might change their choices, but not their moral lines. If you do something drunk you wouldn't have done sober, it's not because you think it's *wrong*, it's because you had some other lesser reason (like solely fear of consequences).
