Where do you see me trying to shove anything down anyone's throats? It doesn't matter whether *I* see something wrong with the terms. If they alienate a whole subset of the population, they aren't worth using IMO, and I won't use them where I get to define terminology.
Also, master/slave is objectively terrible terminology, highly overloaded and vague, and worth replacing on that motive alone, regardless of what you think about people's feelings.
