      Lol, so I only set up this (insecure, but with a basic password) SIP server a couple days ago, but I'm already getting about 1 attempt per second to make calls through it, from multiple clients. I guess attackers trying to call through any open SIP server are a thing?

          I put up an ircd once (Dancer). It took less than few hours for some bots to create channels there and offer X-DDC with warez, Anime, etc. It blew my mind.
