Is there a good Android SIP client with support for TLS/security? Ideally something simple, maintained, open source, and that doesn't kill your battery. I control the other end (Asterisk).

Looks like this is a cross-sig on the DigiCert root by the old Symantec one. So either the DigiCert root is not in the JRE shipped by android-studio, or Java's Symantec blacklist code is horribly broken and bans even valid root certs that just happen to have a Symantec cross.

Oh wait this is using the system JRE, which is icedtea. Let's try OpenJDK.

Hah, so I'm actually kind of impressed here.
@gentoo apparently has some magic to build JRE trust stores out of the system CA database to unify them, and plugs it into all the JREs. I wasn't expecting that. The problem is *I* don't have the DigiCert G2 root in *my* CA whitelist.Show this thread -
Good to know Java software is integrated with my CA list paranoia. Anyway, it works now after adding it.

at least a sip provider with encryption
@Telekom_hilft does IP blocking for there sip server, so that you can only access it if you're behind one of there Ports and they had only had SSLv3 as encryption. The default configuration was also unencrypted... btw tel.t-online. deThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
