Also, consider that the vast majority of trans people do *not* desire to "just stop having dysphoria and become their gender assigned at birth", and we generally don't give people medical treatments against their will.
I completely agree, however it does cause a lot of suffering and that should be the focus of society. Not acceptance or rejection. Actually ending the grief that it brings imo is the important part.
You only mentioned suicide rates, but even if that's true (which I don't know since you haven't linked to any sources), have you considered that perhaps a huge part of that has to do with how trans people are treated, and the *social* effects of transition?
There are also two types of transgender personalities that make this a much more complex debate and are somewhat at odds with each other but I think it's impossible to delve into that rabbit hole on twitter
