I'm just going to say it top-level: if you're a transphobe, I don't need you in my mentions. Being misinformed is fine, but if I find out you're one of those people advocating for hate or harm towards a whole class of people against scientific evidence, I'm going to block you.

What if I think it's an inept thing to do but I'm neutral toward their existence?

Something absurd and stupid but not harmful to others... We all have some inept lubbies, I just think of being trans as just another one some people do...

Being trans is not a thing you do, it's a thing you are. It's no more of a choice than being white or having naturally blonde hair. I suggest you educate yourself on the subject.

Well, I know dysphoria is a serious thing but I don't think going trans is always the best course of action to deal with it(it probably is in some cases tho), anyhow that's just my two cents, as I said, I don't view those people with disdain...

What you're calling "going trans" is transitioning, which is something that not every trans person does, and involves a bunch of different things that not everyone does the same way. The thing is that transition is the *medically accepted* treatment for GD.

Sounds weird to call yourself trans if you don't actually transition but ok, I'm not super educated about the vocabulary people inside of the community are using and it probably makes sense to them, whatever makes them fell right as long as it's not harmful to others...

I'm a libertarian and I'm all for people doing whatever they like, as for giving trans minor access to a treatment, I guess it's okay-ish tho it can probably spark some debate about parents responsibilities and stuff, I have no clear opinion on that matter I guess...

As long as you're okay with that and with trans people living their life as their gender identity, I don't think we have irreconcilable differences here. I would still recommend informing yourself about this subject, though, because it seems you have a few misconceptions!
