      The IDA Home FAQ is basically a list of "use Ghidra, use Ghidra, why would anyone ever buy this, use Ghidra, use Ghidra". Who do they think their target audience is?       I know that there are people who cannot tell the difference between IDA and other tools. It is perfectly understandable that they would prefer free solutions (if the result is the same, why pay?) Our tools are used by the elite, as someone put it.

      Not only is it slower, but it also misses things ghidra doesn't. Ghidra is far from perfect, but IDA has languished due to it being the only real option, so it's highly unoptimized, if the SDK is any indicator IDA's source must be a horrible mess

      Am I using Ghidra incorrectly? I tried to disassemble Zoom's main binary on default settings, and it hadn't finished after more than a day (when IDA finishes in less than 60 minutes). Is there a special configuration magic to make Ghidra perform?

      Close all the lists/windows while it analyzes. It seems to have some serious performance issues updating them for large binaries as they grow in size.

          At some point I read exactly the same about IDA here on Twitter. Close the function list etc. and analysis gets faster.
