If you're selling a useful proprietary product for Linux, I'll probably buy it. But if you're just packaging a bunch of open source code with a license check patch in violation of the MPL, I'm just going to reverse engineer whatever you're doing and document it for free.

Of all the things to pull this bullshit on... I was expecting it to be some large software project or suite, say, LibreOffice. A full-time team of 2-3 people that knows what they're doing could write a scope-complete DHCP server and client in maybe a week.

QA and security audits would take longer, but if those weren't part of this certification, what the hell WERE they doing? Boggles the mind.
