next is a full version of Yosys that can be used with e.g. sby nextpnr... well... about that... it uses Boost, and I tried cross-compiling Boost, and I don't remember how it went because I blanked out that memory as a defensive mechanism
oh no I actually remember it unfortunately so the problem is there are no threads on WASM, but Boost really wants to use atomics, and it seemed like the process to make it not do that would be quite violent
