Okay, so this is *really* stupid. On NTT FLET's, if you don't have a Hikari Denwa contract, you only get a /64 prefix assigned via IPv6 RA. If you do, you get a /56 via DHCPv6-PD. The /56 I just got? It's *the same as my old /64*. They are allocating a /56 for everyone anyway

It s a commercial strategy, in italy, an isp sell access with modem (locked) and voip services, if you don t want the modem and the voip services, you can , but the price is the same

If you get it by RA only its not even properly routable, so most people with a router will not get IPv6 on the inside of their networks.. So yeah, it's total nonsense.
