Today in stupid software bugs. I can't get DHCPv6-PD to work with the @ubnt EdgeRouter-X. Because I need to set the DUID and dhcp6c errors out. Because the DUID file length header is in the wrong endian. Because the Cavium ERs are big-endian and the MTK ones are little-endian.
Somehow I still remembered that the magic manpage is 'perlfunc'. I may have some repressed memories of writing Perl.

Remembering the correct manpage is always the hard part (I use apropos but man -wK is probably more appropriate here https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/195573 )

I find that man pages (much like O’Reilly books) are very detailed references. But reference material is usually not the best to learn something brand new from. The stereotypical can’t see the forest because all the trees are in the way problem.
