Yeah when I found out the LPDDR3 limitation, all the SKU’s for *years* that cap’d at 16GB made more sense and I was just… disappointed in the entire freaking industry. … And then I spent way too much money on an i9 laptop because it was the only SKU that could spec 32GB.
And this is one reason why I'm still running on a 7 year old i7 with 32GB RAM. That, and given this and other BS I'm not buying Intel any more, and I'm just waiting for someone to put our a Ryzen 4000 laptop with one of ExpressCard/TB3/USB4.
