      I tried to use Adobe Illustrator today. This was a mistake. I spent **one hour** trying to fix a stray/misaligned anchor in a mesh object's edge before I gave up. No amount of Googling explained what the fuck was going on.

      Here is a video of the issue. This is an AI file I received from a designer. This is my first time editing with AI, but I am familiar with other vector editors and was expecting a 5 minute fix to make the side of this mesh a perfect vertical line.       Thanks for the additional details. Let's try to disable the GPU Performance in Illustrator Preferences and check. You can open the Preferences menu by clicking the top left Illustrator icon or use the keyboard shortcut - Cmd+K. ^Om

      It was just a troubleshooting step to double-check if you could still see the rendering issue using CPU instead of GPU. Regarding the video, it seems there are Anchor Points in between the straight line. How was the shape created, was it using the Rectangle tool or Pen tool? ^Om

      Keep in mind the rendering issue happens when exporting to PNG. It does not appear in the canvas in AI while editing. The glitches appear in different random places in the export, regardless of the GPU setting. I don't know how the mesh was created originally by the designer.

      I can see that there are some kind of anchor points between the visible ones, but the problem is they are not visible until I hover over them, and they cannot be selected or moved properly, and have strange behavior overall.
