I was *trying* to avoid all the really obvious ones (keyboard LEDs, PSU capacitors, CPU power/clocks, etc), because last time I tried to joke about this I accidentally came up with half of that Israeli team's research output, but I'm sure I still overlapped with some.

Coil whine and capacitor whine are a total classic, yeah. really, just stick a mic next to some open boards and look for noise... You can hear this stuff with the naked ear even, quite often.
