        @NetFlix relies upon Level 3 as their CDN or at least they did, back when Comcast lost their http://it.sh  and de-peered Level 3 in 2010 and started dropping > 90% of their packets because their network engineering was that bad.

        I'm convinced that instead of actually rolling out FTTH in most of the country, American ISPs will just keep cooking up new versions of DOCSIS and VDSL. Considering the existing infrastructure, I can't blame them.
