Today is cancelled, but if someone could reply with an SVG editor that is actually usable on macOS then that would be useful for me when I wake up again. Thank you in advance. Ps. Inkscape is broken and doesn't work.

Didn’t consider gimp, will try it out!
GIMP is not a vector editor, it's a raster editor. GIMP can import SVG but it is absolutely not an SVG editor any more than it is a PDF editor or an HTML editor.

Good point! it imports svgs and let’s you edit them like ‘images’, you can export back to svg but there’s likely losses! I always think of it like those old fashioned turn-crank hand mixers, they work... but if you’re making alot of merengue you want something more

Gimp editing an SVG is like helping someone make dinner using your stomach. The end product is analogous.
