In today's episode of broken software... Apple Compressor installed a bunch of garbage into /var/empty on this Mac. Seriously.

A Mac I worked with recently lost all of it's sticky note files from the Dashboard in the Catalina update. You'd think the migrator would have worked, but no, it deleted the widget properties list for some reason. Data recovery work for that file was a bust.
