At least they were nice enough to mention the DLL in the NDA itself, thus avoiding us having to sign it for nothing.

Looking for vendors for a specific product. Other folks find one. We need to integrate with our system. "Sure, just sign this NDA for access to our SDK". Alarm bells going off. It's going to be a Windows DLL, isn't it. It was a Windows DLL. ABORT ABORT ABORT.

This, except when you get the DLL it has pascal calling convention for half the functions in it (yes this happened to me)

Oh no. I think I'm working with this same vendor and their SDK (I'm too terrified to assume there could be more than one). The best part about working with it is that their documentation is more or less "just read the source for the DLL wrappers... duh"
