Apparently on UniFi devices the channel gets reset after a DFS event at 2AM local time, so this suggests I'm getting DFS triggers starting at odd times every day, but nothing so far in the early morning.

So now I have a proper UniFi setup and it seems that DFS works (and actually triggers). Interesting. Maybe I should capture some 5G spectrum and see if it really looks like radar pulses?pic.twitter.com/gykHmBGDJM

Interestingly enough I *didn't* get a trigger yet today, but the frequency was still off... so did it not reset last night, or did I miss an alert? I just reset it manually, we'll see what happens.

Okay I did get an alert today too, I just derped and accidentally hit 'a' in Thunderbird and archived it, and it just took me something like half an hour of digging through Dovecot data structures to find the mail.

Are you generating the DFS radar signals? I have a hackrf one and couldn't get my ZTE CPE to detect a radar signal I supposedly generated.

No, it's from the environment. Hence why I ought to capture some spectrum and see if I can find out if it really looks like radar.
