I do use the fingerprint reader too, but I still wouldn't want to type in 25 chars when it's raining and my fingers are wet. Or I just got out of the shower. Or I'm wearing gloves. Or I'm holding the phone in the wrong hand and I can't use the finger(s) registered.

i used to do that back in the Touch ID days but i also had both thumbs and index fingers registered
