get ready for really bad DRM subsystem breakage for the first three kernel releases after you get that laptop, AMD is horrible at getting their drivers into shape in time.
Beats having screen tearing unfixed for 5 years, which is my status quo with Intel.

That is true; when the AMD drivers work, they usually work better than Intel's. I usually periodically run drm-tip to see what AMD broke this time and then report it before it makes it into any kernel release, because god damn they really never test kernel stuff.
