Google gave me an award for my contributions to Linux gaming and open source, and while I’m honored to be acknowledged, I can’t accept money from a company that is actively engaging in union busting.

Fwiw, when I was a contractor on Google Earth, in 2006, Chris was always very nice to me. But also, there’s really no scenario where I can imagine “petulant child” was an okay thing to call someone.

When I was there in ~2011 he banned me from their open source processes for daring to try to have a discussion about them, telling me to "go through employment legal" instead. While the lawyer from the team was trying to be reasonable about it.
