      I do mostly local work. You can't actually legally stay in Japan with a work visa without an employer or clients that are mostly local, afaik. You can do overseas work but you need enough local work to qualify by itself.

      i've been here for 13 years and have a 永住権, so no problems there! but it seems like you mainly do hardware based work?
