      Dumb bug of the week PSA: If you use @Nextclouders and you get a "State token does not match" error when trying to log in via the app... go into the settings and set a favicon. Yes, seriously.

      Through whatever convoluted code path I can't figure out, there is no default favicon loaded for the app auth login flow page. That raises an error and returns "" for the path. "" means current page. The browser reloads the login page as a favicon. That invalidates the token.

      That is firmly in the "should never happen" territory, maybe some weird caching interaction. https://github.com/nextcloud/server/pull/17593 … should make this a bit more fail safe

      Thank you! I had a bug report half written but I was reluctant to file it because I don't have good repro steps. This kind of failsafev fix is exactly what I was hoping to see!
