you'll need a shock mount, sound pads to pick up reflections of the room... you'll just end up returning it like i did, i had the XLR one. trash, need to spend way too much to fix the room.
I just stuck a bunch of foam in a closet, put the mic inside, stuck some extra foam on the walls at strategic points to kill some nasty resonance, and I can get better vocal recordings than some semi-pro to arguably pro people. It's not that hard.
