      Chances are you probably never used a "true" USB 1.0 device, as mainstream USB support in OSes didn't really arrive until about 6 months before USB 1.1 became a thing, and it wasn't something you found on consumer computers until a year after 1.1 came out anyway.

      Thinking back to the Pentium II era, I don't think we even had USB on our family computer. It was all still parallel and serial ports for peripherals, and PS/2 for keyboard and mouse. FireWire was a thing but it was seen as specialised, for video cameras and the like.

      Our PII had USB! It was the first box with USB that we had, I believe. Next was the PIII laptop if I remember correctly. That one was still being used as a home server until only a few years ago...
