Seriously, what kind of thinking leads people to believe if this is acceptable? "Oh, we have too many bug reports to deal with, we'll just close some"? I'm sympathetic to understaffed projects, but the moment you close bugs without fixing them, you're insulting your users.

If the bug is about bad TCP packets it’s not a @Nextclouders bug isn’t it ?
It's a @Nextclouders bug triggered by bad TCP packets. The bug is that when the connection dies (for whatever reason, bad TCP packets or otherwise), subsequent retries do not retry the broken chunk and leave behind broken files.
nextcloud has next to no user base or dev base. they're all still with owncloud.
Don't know why you pinged me, the Nextcloud VM repo isn't affected. 
But yeah, I understand the argument of this tweet. I'm not the guy to talk to though. :/ Maybe @AndyScherzinger?
Nextcloud is still super awesome though, and you can always send a PR to make it even better.
