Idle thought: documentation and other IP, created outside a competitive market, as auxiliary material and not the main product, should not be copyrightable. Things like user and repair manuals, datasheets, ISA reference manuals, and proprietary firmware download/config tools.

I mean, to be honest intellectual property should all be burned to the ground, except maybe trademarks. It's abused way too much and at least needs a severe reduction in scope.
