I replied to someone else's tweet; twitter told me there was an offensive reply to my reply; I clicked to show it; it showed the parent tweet. I feel like twitter is actively trolling me

I've seen Twitter "loop" like this before, showing the parent tweet as a reply. I have no idea why or how they managed to break something so basic. Then again, it's Twitter.
