I just found out about @ardourdaw's Lua scripting and it's powerful enough to do *this*. Yes, that's Pong in your mixer strip. With sound effects. Controlled via an automation track. That you can ctrl-middle click to map to your MIDI controller.pic.twitter.com/FE01MFVKGN

so uh... do you think it’s possible to write a piano roll in a seperate window using that? the integrated, constantly resizing piano roll is the feature keeping me a away from ardour

like, i’d like to double click on a midi region and edit that in a separate window that always has the same regular sizes for notes etc
