The DMCA was filed by UMG (her new label) even though the song in question predates that deal. So I dunno.

she doesnt own her own music so I wouldnt put he blame on her, its been a huge topic the past week or so that her exlabel sold all her rights without a way for her to buy them.

UMG filed the DMCA notice, that's her new label. I guess they don't own the masters for the song but they still have whatever rights they think allow them to file DMCA notices for them.
