@marcan42 so what's your favourite filesystem and why. I'm learning more about them and I like rabbit holes haha
CephFS if you want lots of safe storage and don't mind some CPU/RAM overhead in exchange for massively better management, balancing, scalability, and flexibility than RAID or any of that similar ZFS or btrfs stuff. FAT32 when you need something dumb. ext4 for everything else.

Nicee. Both Ceph and ZFS are on my to-do list; btrfs seems kind of dead for now for $REASONS? At any rate that gives me enough to find stuff on how (and why) they're implemented in a given way.
