      I think it uses the ad targeting data for that, which is super normie oriented and seems to default first based on your name and then on your interests if the name check fails

      Ad targeting data is more of a "gender stereotype" field than a "gender" field as far as I can tell. Like, YouTube claims 100% of my viewers are male.
