@marcan42 You may be sick of these questions.... but here goes. Have a factory 9211-8i sbr or associated low level files to restore a bricked unit? I can't seem to locate these anywhere
You might need to run 'unbind' first to disable the kernel driver (what sas2flash etc use).

unbind doesn't work, the mmap bar1 persists. Something to note the lsipci output shows this, 0000:01:00.0 "SCSI storage controller [0100]" all of my other lsi cards show 0107, it doesn't look like it took sbr file properly. Is there a way to just wipe that portion and re-write?

Check lspci -vv output for the card. What does it say about the BARs and driver?
