I only recently discovered that some people can't do this. It just feels natural to me. The fact that some people can't is fascinating. I guess it's like color. I'm color blind, so the idea that most people see color differently than I do is also very fascinating.

As someone who is not color blind, fuck those colors. Never can tell what they are.
Yeah, same. I have no idea if there is a standard for the exact chromaticities, but if there is one it isn't being followed. Sometimes I have no idea if a band is supposed to be red or orange or blue or violet (especially in isolation).

LEDs have always been a problem for me too. Red, yellow, and green ones all basically look the same. When Nintendo switched from green to blue to represent full power on the DSi, it was a godsend to me. My DS lite was constantly dying during gameplay with no warning.
