Tweaked a few pixels to make it compress even worse. Can't say I understand exactly what's going on here; I did start from a basic premise of "doing crap on the luma channel on a 1x1 grid, on the chroma channel on a 2x2 grid" but after that it was just poking random pixels.pic.twitter.com/FoB3lQR58X

Well, you can certainly do stuff like this (the only difference in the input images was the border, which in the second case made Twitter switch to PNG). Make sure to view them full size.pic.twitter.com/T63E0CNfSk

The difference here is that you want a pattern that results in poor JPEG compression while still achieving good PNG compression. Most of the answers there seemed to just be worst-case scenarios for compression in general.
